By Sarah Streich, Matt Sloan, Karen Moeller, Kelly Maxwell, Brad Knight, Dave Durbin, Meghan Rose, Andrew Rohn

Directed by Tony Trout & Andrew Rohn

From across the seas of time, twelve wise, witty and drop-dead gorgeous performers embark on an epic quest to discover the most magical, musical one-hour show and bring it to Madison. These singers, musicians, writers and actors are drawn from Madison’s most prestigious and popular bands, improv companies and theatre groups. Fantasy is the theme, so expect to see Heroes and Monsters, incantations and curses, singing swords and enchanted axes as Madison’s freshest performance adds music for the first time in Are We Delicious? Musical Fantasy.

Are We Delicious? is an ensemble of Madison writer/performers who conceive, write, rehearse and perform an original one-hour comedy-variety show in a single week. Everyone writes, everyone acts (and sings!) and no one can rest until the final curtain.

Oatesland

By Sam D. White

Directed by David Pausch

The Bricks Theatre continues to bring their irreverent and thought-provoking style of theatre to Madison, WI audiences this spring with their latest offering, the world premiere of Oatesland, by local playwright and theatre professional, Sam D. White. This thrilling two-act play will feature the talents of four of Madison’s strongest veteran stage performers: Jessica Jane Witham, Jake Penner, John Jajewski, and Jordan Peterson. David Pausch, co-founder and producer of The Bricks, will direct the project.

Oatesland is set in the brutal environment of a rundown, claustrophobic Antarctic military station, where three U.S. soldiers must battle the extreme elements and close quarters in an endeavor to cohabitate and complete their vague mission. As tensions mount and weather conditions worsen, a mysterious figure arrives out of the cold that will change their lives forever. Oatesland masterfully blends visceral psychological drama with the fascinating history of Antarctic exploration in an experience that is sure to make for a one of a kind theatrical experience that has become synonymous with Bricks Theatre productions.

The Bricks Theatre is currently fundraising for the production. Those interested in donating can do so at http://igg.me/at/oatesland/x/4641377. Support Oatesland!
